INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE
Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is a unit of Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services. More than 200 major companies have utilized its corporate training services and, in 2008/09, annual enrollment of all its courses has reached 77,000.
Major Duties:
(a) To provide quality support service for professional examinations relating to: (i) customer service; (ii) examination invigilation (iii) candidate enrolment & records; (iv) other logistic support;
(b) To assist in administration, data inputting, handling public enquiries; and
(c) To carry out any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) (i) 5 passes in the HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or (ii) A recognized certificate/diploma, or a foundation diploma/foundation certificate in relevant fields, such as Office Practice or Project Yi Jin. Preference will be given to candidates with higher academic qualifications;
(b) Pass a computer test;
(c) Ability to speak fluent Cantonese and fair English;
(d) At least one year full time working experience;
(e) Working experience in customer service fields preferable;
(f) Knowledge and skills in computer software applications, including MS Office and email utilities;
(g) Good typing skills, speed at 50 wpm (English) & 30 wpm (Chinese) is preferred; and
(h) Able to work on shift basis, e.g. 8:45am – 9:30pm on Mondays to Saturdays.
Conditions: Fringe benefits will be provided in accordance with the Employment Ordinance.

Major Duties:
1. To perform teaching duties;
2. To develop and prepare teaching & learning package/materials;
3. To assist in developing examination paper and marking scheme;
4. To attend review meetings to provide recommendations or suggestions on improvement in curriculum, syllabuses, and teaching and assessment methods;
5. To provide referrals on external contacts for the purpose of arranging job placement for students/ graduates of the courses.
Requirements:
1. A recognized relevant degree, preferably with professional qualification in relevant disciplines, or equivalent;
2. Minimum 3 years management experience in any relevant industries and/or field of expertise;
3. At least 3 years of teaching or in-house staff training experience;
4. Close network with relevant industry associations and professional bodies;
5. Strong presentation skills in Cantonese and English (Mandarin a plus); and
6. Lecture experience in other institute(s) is definite advantage.
