“Enrolling in the Deakins University MBA programme has been one of the most challenging experiences I have faced for many years. As a qualified accountant for 25 years and an executive director for a listed company for 14 years, going back to school is not what I would call a career enhancement choice. However, through my work and coaching with many young aspiring mangers, I would really like to know if I can put life-long learning into practice. After a diligent search I have found the Deakins MBA programme offered by VTC as the one that meets my needs.
There are flexibilities in the numbers of units that I can enroll in over the three semesters in a calendar year; there are also flexibilities in choosing subjects that I am interested in and those that I need to fulfill as a basic core requirement. There are weekly classroom teaching which I can follow the course content. The most important feature is working with other professionals from all walks of life to share our opinions on the curriculum materials through small group discussions. These professionals provide a future network where I can draw on in our various professional career. The experience has been challenging and a proof to me that learning is indeed life long and we are never too old or too busy to do it.”

“I was a MBA student taking the eCommerce specialization. I like the flexibility of the course that is module-based and the learning platform that allows me to form assignment group with fellow students all over the world so that strength from different sources can be combined. Thanks to the hard-work of the Deakin faculty. The local coordinator VTC is always responsive to the request or query from both students and tutors, and the effort deserves my compliment. Overall, the Deakin MBA is definitely a decent course worth taking.”
